Process
Plan through private delivery, under counsel’s direction
Every engagement is developed with counsel. You define objectives and review cuts; AFM produces under that guidance. Nothing advances without your approval.

Process
How we work with counsel
A short process film, about 60 to 90 seconds. Plan · Interviews · Edit with counsel · Private delivery.
Four stages, counsel in control
- 01
Plan
We begin with counsel and the investigator to understand the case, the mitigation strategy, and the purpose of the film. Together, we identify the family members, friends, and other voices most likely to provide meaningful context.
- 02
Interviews
We conduct thoughtful, documentary style interviews with the people agreed upon with counsel. Our job is to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and uncover the experiences and relationships that help explain the person behind the case.
- 03
Edit with counsel
We shape the interviews and supporting material into a focused narrative. Counsel reviews the film as it develops and provides direction before the final cut is approved.
- 04
Private delivery
The approved film is delivered securely to counsel for use as counsel determines appropriate.
You stay in control
Nothing advances without counsel’s direction and approval. AFM does not freestyle outside your plan, invent facts, or publish client films as marketing.
Client films are not published as marketing. Counsel may request private sample access to evaluate craft.
